Brad Mezei has a degree in Jazz studies from the University of North Texas Jazz studies program with an emphasis on performance. He has toured with and opened for such groups as Morris Day and The Time, Sly and the Family Stone, Rebirth, and the Reverend Marv Sapp. He has been featured on local shows such as the Channel 11 Local News, Rick Smily's Morning Show, and the Potter's House Christmas Spectacular. In addition to his performance credits, he owns and operates two local professional bands: Memphis Soul and the Brad Band. Brad Mezei has a list of publishing credits that include works for Hal Leonard, Glee, Dolly Parton, and Six Flags Over Texas. Currently, Brad continues his studies with Bobby Burns Jr. (current trumpet player for Earth Wind and Fire), and Paris Rutherford (former arranger/writer for the University of North Texas). He continues to produce works for various professional shows.
